It would be a sin not to have created a journal in the whole year.

Firstly, I'm sorry for losing touch guys, been a bit busy and then kinda.. forgot.. about this place. >_> Now that I'm here I'm wondering how much has changed with you all but with too many journals and stuff to check, I probably won't get round everyone, so further apologies for that.

Anyway, many of you will be happy to know (I would hope) that I'm well and back home for a week, haven't really been back since the summer its been crazy.

So lets see, since my last journal a summary of some key points;

1. I failed to keep my 2008 resolution, which was to win every kart race I entered, I lost 1 out of the 2 lol.

2. The second year at uni ended well, can't believe I got a 2-1 overall again, I messed up the exams but all the project pulled me through. (coursework was worth 60% last year) As for the project, it was immense, we designed a small crane operated remotely (I was the heroic operator) and in a nut shell we thrashed the competition with performance, weight AND cost. (lol believe me it was exciting)

3. Since summer I've been working in Aerospace, working on Airbus aircrafts. As part of my third year at uni, I have to go to an engineering company and work! I get assessed and even have exams which I have to study for outside of work. X_X

Anyway work is pretty cool, essentially I'm responsible for saving lives! Yeah its totally epic!!!!!!! Actually it can be a little boring because I'm doing a fuck load of maths. But I do take quite a lot of pride in it, infact I work on some weekends to get my work done quicker (note: no one is in the office during the weekend and there is a wheelchair left by someone = hours of unsupervised fun!! )

Oh my new flat is a dump, due to a set of complicated and unforeseen events, our group of friends from last years flat kinda got split so me and my friend are living with some random messy and dirty people...

I could go into the night writing about the gross stuff in our flat... however I don't want to make you lose your appetite, nor mine actually.

Ooh other than being overwhelmingly happy at Manchester United becoming the champions of England, Europe and THE WORLD.

LEWIS HAMILTON became the World Champion! To have become a champion at such a young age and sooo early in his career, and to demonstrate how totally exciting his driving is, is just mind boggling.

I went to see him and his Mclaren at the race of champions at Wembley earlier this month. It was amazing to hear the roar of the Mercedes engine as he drove around, it echoed around the stadium never realised just how loud and breath taking an F1 engine sounds. But what was more amazing was the roar of cheers he received from the ground. He's become a national treasure and he was nice enough to thank us for supporting him. Such a sound guy, a real role model. He shall be receiving an MBE from her Majesty the Queen in the new year I think.
